The UK version of the iPhone 5s is a touchscreen-based smartphone developed by Apple Inc. It is the seventh generation of the iPhone to sell in the UK and succeeds the iPhone 5. Apple formally introduced the phone in China along with its lower-end counterpart, the iPhone 5c on September 10, 2013, and the phone will be released on the UK´s major carriers towards the end of this year.

Similarly to the iPhone 4S, the 5s is a revised version of its predecessor; incorporating a similar exterior design to the iPhone 5, a 64-bit Apple A7 processor, an onboard fingerprint sensor inside its updated home button, and the iOS 7 operating system is now offered with various enhancements for the UK mobile Market.
